Exploring Sciscape: A Fun Learning Adventure with the Kids

One of my favorite things as a mom is finding places where my kids can learn and still have fun. Recently, we discovered Sciscape, an interactive play and learning space where kids can build, bake, craft and discover science in fun, hands-on ways. It turned out to be such a wonderful experience for the whole family.

From the moment we walked in, the kids were curious and excited. But what I loved most about Sciscape was that every corner was interactive. It wasn’t just about looking, it was about touching, trying, and experiencing. The kids got to explore, experiment, and ask a hundred questions (which I honestly love, even if nakakapagod sumagot sometimes 😅).

Fun Activities and Sections We Explored

The first activity we tried was keychain making, the kids carefully chose their designs and I could see how focused they were while working on their little masterpieces. Their smiles were priceless as they show off their amazing creations.

We also explored Scentscape, where the kids had fun smelling different scents, and Aquascape, where they got to feed the fish. Both were simple yet exciting experiences that added something new to our day.

The kids were instantly drawn to the RC construction vehicles, we actually stayed there for quite a while because they just couldn’t get enough!

Afterwards, we moved on and explored the other spots, until we reached the Space Rail, which got all of us excited to try.

The boys also had a blast at the ball pit and slide, and they got curious trying out the different musical instruments at Soundscape. There are also video games available for kids to enjoy.

One of the highlights for us was baking cupcakes together. The kids had so much fun mixing, decorating, and enjoying their sweet creations after. Sciscape also offers other activities like cookie, muffin, and cake baking, and even pizza making—which we’d love to try on our next visit.

Our last activity was perfume making, which the kids found really interesting. In this section, you can also try candle and soap making. There’s also painting activities, and a whole lot more, so there’s always something new for kids to enjoy and discover.

As a mom, I really appreciate spaces like this. It’s not just another play day, it’s an opportunity to spark curiosity, creativity, and imagination. Plus, it’s quality bonding time. Watching them learn, laugh, and enjoy together makes the effort of going out so worth it.

We ended the day tired but happy, with hearts full of memories. And I know that for the kids, these little trips will be part of the core memories they’ll carry as they grow. If you’re looking for a place where your kids can learn and have fun at the same time, I’d definitely recommend adding Sciscape to your family bucket list.

Thanks for joining us in this little adventure! Have you been to Sciscape or a similar place with your kids? I’d love to hear about your experience.

Life Lately: Motherhood, Family Life, and Core Memories

It’s been a while since I last sat down to write here, and honestly, life has been a whirlwind. Between motherhood, work, and family, my days have been so full that I often wonder where the time goes. But lately, I’ve been having the urge to write here again, to share pieces of my life and connect with moms who might be in the same season as me.

What to See and Do at Ocean Adventure in Subic?

Subic has been a top destination of our family when I was little. We’ve been there countless of times before, but for some reasons, we never got to explore Ocean Adventure. Now that I have my own family, I made sure to schedule a visit to Ocean Adventure when we went to Subic last February. We booked our ticket at Klook. That time the ticket was at Php 595 per adult and Php 475 per child.

Where to Stay in Subic? A Review of Grand Hoyah Hotel

Our trip to Subic happened last February, but it was only now that I get to write about it since I’ve been busy the past few months. On this trip, Tep and I agreed to book everything on a budget, that is why I spent a lot of hours checking various websites to look for an affordable yet nice hotel for a family of four, where we will spend 4 days and 3 nights.

Our Weird and Wonderful Experience at Gootopia

It’s school break and the kids were a bit bored at home, so we thought of bringing them to some place new. We saw Gootopia on the net and we decided that it is the perfect place to go since the kids love slime.

Gootopia is located at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. We bought our tickets online since it is cheaper compared if you will buy it as a walk in client. For our tickets, we paid Php 599 per adult and Php 499 per kid. I think this is their weekday promo, so to know more about their rates, check their website through this link. The rate per person includes access to all the games and challenges inside plus a slime kit.
