Our Weird and Wonderful Experience at Gootopia

It’s school break and the kids were a bit bored at home, so we thought of bringing them to some place new. We saw Gootopia on the net and we decided that it is the perfect place to go since the kids love slime.

Gootopia is located at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. We bought our tickets online since it is cheaper compared if you will buy it as a walk in client. For our tickets, we paid Php 599 per adult and Php 499 per kid. I think this is their weekday promo, so to know more about their rates, check their website through this link. The rate per person includes access to all the games and challenges inside plus a slime kit.

We scheduled our visit at 10:00 am, which I think is the best time to go since the place is not crowded yet. Once the online tickets are validated, each of the guests will be given a score card that lists down all the challenges and activities that needs to be done, this is also the card that you will present if you will claim your slime kit.

Upon entrance, you will be required to wash your hands first. Afterwards, one of their staffs will assist you in doing the challenges. For every challenge, you will earn points and this will be written on the scorecard.

Here are the different challenges or activities that you can do inside Gootopia.

Slime Tower Challenge – this will test your strength as you need to hold and hang on the bar for 10 seconds.

Balloon Blaster – two players will race on who’s going to pop the balloon first.

Goonado – you will catch as many balls as you can for 30 seconds. It was my dream to do a challenge like this, although I will be grabbing money instead of balls. haha.

Human Bowling Ball – ride the big green ball and strike all the big bowling pins. This was my favorite challenge and I felt like I’m Miley Cyrus at the Wrecking Ball while doing this. haha! Although my kids, who were 5 and 3 years old, were afraid to try it.

Slime Spy – on this challenge, you need to cross the room without touching any of the laser lights. All of us were not able to cross the first set of laser lights.

Boom Boxer – box to the tune of your selected song.

Goolectic Challenge – make sure that you will not touch the wire to avoid the loud beeping sound.

Goo Catcher – this will test how alert you are as you need to catch all the falling pins.

Slime Face – a cute game where you may be blasted with flour on your face.

Goozooka – this is an optional challenge wherein you will be blasted with slime. They provide protective suit, face cover and boots, but there’s still a chance that your clothes might get wet, so make sure to bring an extra.

Apart from the challenges, they also have two big tubs of slime and two boxes with kinetic sand where kids can enjoy playing.

After you are done with all the challenges, get your scorecard from the staff so you will know what score you got. Then present it at the Slime Lab to get your slime kit. You can customize the color and scent of your slime at their lab, make sure to put activator so the slime won’t stick to your hands.

There’s also an option to upgrade your slime for an additional fee. In case you would like to buy some more slime, they have a store at the entrance.

Both kids and adults will surely enjoy at Gootopia. It will take 1.5 to 2 hours to finish all the challenges depending on the number of guests inside.
